Grandmom and Grandad!

We had a great visit with Jody's parents last week. They stayed in a hotel so the boys were able to go swimming almost every day. We went to the Summer Night's on the Green, the fair, shopping, and out to eat. The Sonoma County Fair was the best one I've ever been to. Super clean, kid-friendly, good food (funnel cakes, shaved ice and lots of food vendors). There was plenty for the kids to do. We got them wrist bands so they went on the rides over and over again. Cohen loved the roller coaster one. Ammon rode it once and was done but Cohen went a few more times on his own. Even Rylee got to get in on the action. The weather was perfect and there weren't any crowds. After going on rides and eating lunch we thought we were done but then we ran into the dinosaur area and the kids thought it was even better. They were able to paint on a mural, dig up fossils, touch snakes and tortoises, and see lots of cool reptiles, like alligators. Then we let them see the farm animals and the smallest horse and the biggest crocodile. It was a great day! We were exhausted by the end but I think Cindy and I enjoyed it as much as the kids did.

The boys loved having a playmate for the week (Larry). He'll wrestle with them and play silly games. Rylee was all over him too. She also loved her Grandmom and would surprise her with hugs and kisses during the day.

We are so glad they are coming back after Tate is born. It's so nice to have company around to help out and break up the routine!
