We got Jody's company car, a 2005 Ford Escape, on Monday. The only difference is that it is a charcoal grey color. I have been driving it around because he is out of town and I really like it. The best part is that it is free.
At 30 weeks of pregnancy I finally broke down and bought some seven maternity jeans. My only complaint? Why didn't I do it sooner? They are seriously heavenly. I wear them everyday and I actually feel somewhat "cute" in them. They are so comfortable. I HATE maternity pants because they are always falling down and these don't. Word to the wise, by at least one pair when you are pregnant. They were worth more than the $100 I bought them for on ebay. Also make sure you go up at least two sizes from your pre-pregnancy size. They run small.
I love designer jeans! Even if you aren't pregnant look into getting some. They are my guilty pleasure. You can always get them much cheaper on ebay. But be sure not to get fakes. This ebay store is the best I've found. Happy Shopping!
A few of you have asked about my Oprah Show experience. The second summer we lived in Chicago I vowed to try to go to the show. She normally doesn't shoot during the summer but we got there in May. I kept checking her website for tickets and found a taping that they were still giving tickets for. I had to tell them why I should be chosen to go. So I made up a huge sob story, that was true, about how I was only in Chicago for the summer, 8 months pregnant with my first child and would probably never be back in Chicago. Then forgot about it. A week later I got a call from someone from the show stating that I had been chosen to go! Of course we didn't see any famous stars or get free stuff. The show was about "Amazing Kids." Still a cool experience. I seriously sat about 10 feet away from Oprah. Someday I want to be on the show as a guest!

That is a really good site! I bet you look cute no matter what pregnant. I would love to buy some, but with only about 5-6 weeks left it would be a waste. Plus it is already 90 here. I already have a goal to buy myself a pair of Joe's when I reach my goal weight. So maybe by Christmas...:) Oh and they had Joe's at Costco the other day. Kinda random.
If they make you feel good then ANYTHING is worth it when you are pregnant - if you feel cute then that's all that matters. That's a cute story too about Oprah.
Cute jeans! Too bad I am not pregnant, no let me say that again, thank goodness I am not pregnant!!! I can't believe you are so close to having her. I've been watching your little count down thing and have seen your pregnancy pictures... you and Heather MUST be related. You both are so small when you are pregnant, it's a wonder that the baby has any room to grow. I know you must feel completely opposite about that! But you sure do look dah-ling!
I love the Oprah story. I would be a blubbering mess if it were me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oprah, and would need an oxygen mask just to go to the show. I can't imagine what medical team would need to escort me if I were a guest! Thanks for sharing!
I bought a pair of sevens from Nordstroms a few months ago and love them!!!! I even went so far to buy Scott a pair but he didn't like them as I did so they were returned. But, yes they are great, they look hot and are sooo comfortable!

Go Kelly! I think I'm convinced that I need to get a pair with my next pregnancy. So you like the Sevens in maternity? Do you like the regular ones on you? I don't like the regular Sevens on me. I prefer Citizens. Have you tried those maternity? Maybe I'll have to borrow yours when I am pregnant and see how they look. Then I'll buy some. Even though it will be my last, I want to look good being pregnant, for once!

I am a pure designer jeans girl, I will surely be investing in a pair of these (or the citizen maternity jeans) someday when I am pregnant. If Ebay isn't your thing, the Nordstrom Anniversary every July will sell all those brands for around $100, that is where I always get mine. Fun post!
